The Propolis of Rosario

To be free from emotional manipulation requires care, attention and simple daily actions.

Natural remedies are among these attentions, which you can choose according to what you like the most and consider the most effective for your case and for your personality.

Let us know them better.

Today it is the turn of the Propolis of Rosario.

Rosario Sica is a herbalist, according to his own definition: a health farmer! He devotes himself to the handmade production of food products with particular focus on apiculture and medicinal products. He could speak for hours (and he does it) tirelessly advising and proposing holistic solutions for wellbeing. He likes to launch educational workshops on the herbal world and on bee-keeping. His Mission? To change the world, starting from himself.

Question: “How, when and why have you become fond of this natural remedy?”.

Answer: “I have been making an incessant use of propolis since I had the honor to try it for the first time in 2010, produced by my “Godfather of the bees”. It saved me several times from flu symptoms”.

Question: “What are its main benefits?”.

Answer: “As time passed, I discovered that it contains several vitamins and minerals useful to the proper functioning of our immune system, the flavonoid galangin that is responsible for the anti-inflammatory and antibiotic function, resins that promote tissue healing, and powerful antioxidants that provide an anti-tumor and anti-aging activity”.

Question: “What simple use could you suggest us for our health?”.

Answer: “Its intake is very simple. The hydroalcoholic extract (in my opinion the most effective) is often found in small amber-colored bottles with a specific dropper, you just take from five to ten drops of it directly on your tongue or mixed in a teaspoon of honey to sweeten their taste. You can also apply it directly and locally on wounds, infections, herpes, and aphthae”.

Question: “What is your personal message for those who want to break free from manipulation?”.

Answer: “Our wonderful and delicate body needs energy to be able to carry out its functions. Being a food technologist, the first thing that comes to my mind is the sentence of Feuerbach: We are what we eat. The food is one of the methods that we have available to derive the energy that is necessary to our body in order to live, but it is not the only one. We can obtain energy from the surrounding environment, from the universe, from plants, from other people, and from the achievement of our goals. Being ignorant of the matter, I dare to believe that, in order to avoid finding ourselves in an emotional manipulation, we need to learn how to draw in a balanced way from all these forms of energy at the same time, so that we can be independent as much as possible without ever having to depend on any of them. I would recommend reading a book that expresses this concept in a more thorough way while being easy to read: The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield”.

Thanks Rosario!

Propolis for internal use belongs to that one per cent of me that is not yet completely vegan. For external use, I found some worthy substitutes of it that are completely vegetable. I am still looking for a natural, and not of animal origin, antibiotic and antiviral, which has its same spectrum of action, its effectiveness, its timeliness, and its power. Rosario uses organic methods with his bees. For instance, you may not know, but also the bees can have small parasites in their hair, called varroa, that are similar to lice. He eradicates them with slow rhythms, blocking their growth and propagation, without using pesticides and preserving their and our health.

Namastè 🙂
